Tronlinkwallet staking
Staking TRX through TronLink provides TRON network resources and voting rights. You cannot transfer staked TRX. A confirmed Stake 2.0 unstaking transaction starts a network-defined wait before withdrawal, currently 14 days on TRON Mainnet. Check the withdrawal time recorded for your request.
- Asset and network
- TRX on the TRON network.
- Resource use
- Bandwidth covers transaction data; smart contract calls also consume Energy. Stake 2.0 lets you choose which resource to obtain. If resources cannot cover the applicable fees, the network can burn TRX from your available balance. TronLink also lets you delegate Bandwidth or Energy from your stake to another account. If a delegation lock applies, wait for it to expire. Reclaim the relevant resources before unstaking their backing TRX.
- Voting rewards
- Staking provides voting rights; voting for TRON Super Representatives can yield TRX rewards.
Staking with offline keys
TronLink's mobile cold-wallet mode supports TRX staking, unstaking and voting. The setup needs two secure mobile devices with no rooting history: one offline device holding private keys and one online device.
The online device handles transaction preparation and balance viewing, while the cold device supplies the required offline signature. Keep the cold device offline after creating wallets and store its backup securely. TronLink's cold-wallet guide, updated September 20, 2026, treats the selected hot or cold mode as fixed.
Decision checklist
- Do you need TRON resources for on-chain operations, voting rights or both?
- If TRX voting rewards are your goal, will you also vote for Super Representatives?
- If you choose cold-wallet signing, can you maintain two devices and keep the key-holding device offline?
